A certain Mr Giam, with the title "Manager, Annual Giving, Development Office" of Anti-You (to quote dee) has sent us an email about donations and well, giving. very, very ironic. if you know hokkien you'll know what i mean.

on another note, i've successfully turned into tomato girl (and col into lobster girl, might i add) because of today's picnic at west coast. i'll post the group photo here after i photoshop apple in. apparently both of us had the worse seats on the picnic mat--cathy was white as usual and the rest, unscathed, BECAUSE they were sitting in the shade. sigh. but we had a fun and shout-y time which helped us to see each other in quite different lights now. (e.g. dee dances when she's trying to get attention and everyone's ignoring her cos she's a level 7 pig.)

there's a very good ad on tv right now, where the sound waves were shown in the form of politician's faces, with recordings of their speeches played when the respective face appears. smart. it's on the history channel.

(occupational hazard. now whenever i see an ad i scrutinise it and ponder about it as if it held life's most important secrets.)

i'd really like a dSLR to play around with, thanks. maybe i'll request for it as a combined christmas present for 2008-2017 christmases (10 years' worth). heehee.
